DIGITAL MAP GENERATOR RN6


The RN6 Digital Map Generator (DMG) by EuroAvionics is the successor of the popular RN5 series. It offers enhanced functionality, new features and a better performance. It is designed for the professional helicopter operator who requires a highly integrated system with extensive hard disk space (not included, conventional hard-disks or flash-disks with different capacities are selectable), a high variety of interfaces and maximum mission support capabilities. Apart from detailed raster and vector mapping, the system provides additional functions tailored to the needs of military, police and SAR/EMS operators. The RN6 can be linked to a wide range of hardware components, including an existing FMS. Their setup and configuration options are highly variable and can be adjusted to each customer´s requirements. The basic setup consists of the RN6 map generator plus shock mounting tray, one or more displays, a switch box with an integrated PCMCIA slot (for data transfer) and a NVG compatible control unit. Hardmounting is possible as well.
